1. Who We Are

2. What Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Hosts (registered users)

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Purpose: account creation, login, and event management.
Legal basis: Contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

2.2 Guests (added by hosts)

  • Name
  • Phone number (optional) — used to generate a WhatsApp invitation link
  • Email address (optional) — used for event updates (only for events where the guest is invited)
  • Family member names (if provided by the host)

Purpose: invitations, participation tracking, and event planning.
Legal basis: Legitimate Interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Important: MinEventHub does not use guest data for marketing.

2.3 Allergy and dietary information (optional)

  • Food preference
  • Allergy or dietary notes (optional, provided by the guest)

Purpose: event food planning and guest safety.
Legal basis: Consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)) for allergy/dietary information.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Create and manage host accounts
  • Create events and invitations
  • Track RSVP responses
  • Store food preferences and allergy information (only when provided)
  • Send event updates by email (only if an email address is provided)
  • Generate a WhatsApp invitation link (no automated WhatsApp messaging is sent by MinEventHub)

4. Hosting and Data Location

MinEventHub is hosted by SmarterASP.NET on servers located in the European Union. SmarterASP.NET acts as a data processor and maintains security measures to protect data.

5. Sharing of Data

We do not sell personal data and do not share personal data for marketing. Data is shared only as needed to operate the service (for example, storage and hosting by our provider).

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above.

  • Guest contact data may be retained for up to 24 months after the last event activity, unless deleted earlier by the host or upon request.
  • Allergy/dietary information is intended for event planning and may be deleted after the event.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection. To request help with your data, email: mineventhub@gmail.com.

8. Security

We use HTTPS and standard security practices to protect data. Access to event and guest details is restricted to invited participants and hosts.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as MinEventHub evolves. Updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
